On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of orange, barley and caramel. Similar flavours with some pine. Nicely bitter with an oily mouth-feel. Mild carbonation and a nice orange linger.

Pale yellowy amber, medium white head fades to nothing. grassy light lemon nose. caramel honey juicy fruit front, quite sweet but then suddenly dry bitter linger. I like this.

Cask gravity, Cov 2011. Orange gold with a fast-dispersing bubbled top. Bilious, lightly resinous aroma with a glaze of beeswax.. Soapy bittering hop, orange peel hints- it’s more the seawater and rich tea biscuit character that shines through than the NZ stuff. Cream and biscuit linger. Very disappointing.
