Really excellent mild one of the best iv ever tried. Both aroma and taste are dominated by coffee and roasted barley, but really balanced and full bodied for the strength.

Tasted at the Luton Beer Festival, dark brown, no head. A bitter malt aroma with chocolate and coffee. Light and smooth, sweet malt with a touch of coffee.

Cask stillage @ CAMRA Winter Ales Festival,New Century Hall Manchester. Quite strong for a mild. Full bodied with strong burnt, coffee notes. Noticeably bitter finish. Another really good example of this style of beer.

Cask conditioned, GBBF 2005: Burnt coffee in the aroma. Some beans are noticable in the flavour. Not particular mild. Quite bitter finish.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] A brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty and somewhat roasted. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of coffee and chocolate. Nice Mild.

[Cask conditioned] Very dark brown coloured. Loads of coffee, chocolate and roasty malts. Flavourful and full bodied. A very good mild.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Beautiful lustrous black colour, with a large, fluffy head which looks very inviting. Rich, oily mouthfeel, with an ice cream sweetness. Oaty flavour, berry hints and some warming spice. Delicious and full bodied. Very good stuff, definitely at the strong end of the Mild scale.

Cask conditioned no sparkler. A black beer with an off white head. There is not much aroma, but the flavours are more characteristic with notes of coffee and bitter chocolate. very drinkable.

I'm may not be as much of a connoisseur of mild as some others round here, but I know a good one when I experience it. Distinct roasty aroma and smoky flavour. Quite full bodied (and relatively high in alcohol) for a mild, which gives it more character than many other milds; some might say too much for the style. Cask (gravity), Battersea Beer Festival.
