Cask gravity at Battersea BF 08. Dark ruby with lasting bubbly beige head. Mild aroma, some choc. Rather a nice dark mild aroma. Bit of tarryness. Decent in mouth, some dark fruits, a little choc powder. Good dark mild with a good fruit/choc mix. I can see why it gets some solid scores.

Cask conditioned at Merton Summer B.F ’08. Red brown with cream head. Again a slightly sweetish, fruity mild with a touch of boiled prune going on. Darkly roasted, earthy malts with a hint of bitumen, liquorice. A decent solid beer.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Sussex Beer Festival.
Dark mahogany brown colour. Coffee malt aroma with nice earthy and fruity notes. Lots of fruit, chocolate malt and coffee in the mouth with a lovely dry and earthy finish. Very downable. A jolly good mild.
