Blackfriers. Aroma gives citrus hints with ghrassy tones, however a good biscuity malt backing balanced. Taste is simila completely balanced neither dominate and leaves for some seriously dangerous drinking.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Quite hoppy and soft. Has a clean mouth feel, with some citrusy zest towards the finish. Pleasant, but overall kind of light and maybe a bit dull, but drinkable all the same.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle at Chris O’s extravaganza. This was a generous freebie from Wyn from La Trappiste. Gold coloured with a reasonably good head. Sweetish bitter with plenty of citrus and a nice drying finish.

Very IPA if you ask me. It is not my style, too bitter for me, but the quallity was good, a little squashy.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
[Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is fruity combined with slight notes of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy combined with slight notes of orange flowers, leading to a bitter end. The body is thin.
