One rate?? Amateurs. From the bottle on the beach, 25/12/11. Weak suck of sherbet lemon, boiled sweets, mostly card. Biscuit and rubber as it warms. Steamed veg, sourish grain, cream and corn aroma. Not much of an ale but its Christmas Day on the beach so I’ll let them off.

Full of character. Smooth and balanced aroma and taste. Unique amongst Caribbean beer and can rank with the best of the world.

Bottles at home in Barbados, some on the beach. Not bad, not really an ale, more of a lager. Nice taste, pleasant after taste. Good change fron standard Banks.

250mL found in Barbados though it can be tough to find. The pour is a clear gold with a big, off-white, fluffy head. Good retention but no lace. Aroma is metallic, copper, candy corn, lemon, old candies. Taste is suddy, soapy, some real malty grain, honey. There is some sort of body here like lemon cake that is balanced with peppery hops. Palate is soapy, fresh. Not too bad. Definitely a step up from normal Banks.
