Jeppe (2634), Ølbutikken, Denmark Jul 20, 2007 Plastic bottle brought home by yespr - thanks!! White head, clear golden body. Quite a bit of hop in the aroma with a hint corn. Hoppy flavor as well, very lagerish and quite as expected. Not bad, not interesting, just.....
Beerlando (1156), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 30, 2008 A gift from Mike & Melissa. Pours a crystal clear medium golden color. A small, fizzy, off-white head disappears quickly, leaving minimal, spotty lacing behind. The aroma is that of a typical Caribbean lager, primarily sweet, corny malts, dry cereal grains, and faint floral hops. Flavors are more of the same, though I swear I pick up a hint of coconut water amongst the corn malts and lightly peppery floral hops. Thin body, moderate carbonation. No better or worse than a typical American macro pale lager. jjpm74 (2760), Connecticut, USA May 26, 2008 Updated: May 28, 2008Pours yellow and fizzy with a decent frothy white head. Smells soapy and earthy with some perfumy hoppy touches. Tastes sweet and dry if that makes sense with some peppery splashes. A hint of bitterness emerges as the beer warms. A decent lawnmower brew. Gregis (853), Overland Park, Kansas, USA May 20, 2008 Bottle shared by csbosox. Thanks for sharing this one, Chris. Light yellow with virtually no head. The aroma that hit me was was initially a subdued banana note but quickly transitioned to an odd, grainy adjunct note. Light-bodied and thin with "pinpricking", fine carbonation and a crisp finish; different. The flavor is an unnatural, lightly malty graininess with a light hop finish. Meh; if I found myself in Barbados, I’m afraid I’d have to go with rum over this one. theisti (986), Leawood, Kansas, USA May 18, 2008 330 ml plastic bottle shared by csbosox. Pour is clear golden with only a thin white head that is gone fast. Aroma of skunk and some artificial candy sweet sugar. Taste is cabbage, sugar and really weird graininess. Almost a vegetable taste - beets? This is one does not agree with me. Thanks for sharing Chris! csbosox (945), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA May 16, 2008 330ml plastic bottle. Crisp aroma with noble hops, actually fairly nice. Pale colored with a wispy head. Crisp pils-like malt and a very faint hops favor, more like a hint, really. Very clean. For a pale lager, this is well made, clean, and refreshing.
