Banks Beer, the beer of Barbados, is a premium pilsner style lager with a smooth, fresh aroma and a medium alcohol content. Banks is brewed from a pure classic blend of 2-Row British and Australian malted barleys deliciously flavored by Yakima Clusters and the noble Styrian Goldings aroma hops. It is however Barbados’ water, naturally filtered through limestone rock, along with our own special strain of yeast, which give Banks Beer its unique Bajan character and distinctive quality. Consistently the #1 choice among beer drinkers in Barbados since it was first produced in 1961.

What can I say - light and refreshing adjunct lager with very little hop character or mouthfeel. Great for sitting on the beach.

Bottle to bottle...not a good craft beer day. Wheat, skunk, hay. Lightish amber, but that’s the best I can do. Taste is a ’classic’ macro pilsner...lots of grains, skunk, no balance.

Bottle from systembolaget. Yellow lager to drink in the sun. Watery with hints of metal, not that good.

Bottle 33cl traded with CH-303 thanks ! A clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is on wet paper and corn sugar. Aroma is on wet paper, very very thin, dusty hops, and nothing very very poor, just some vague bitterness at the finish, no aromatic hops.

Weak hoppy, sweetish aroma. Clear yellow, little head. Little sour, little sweet. Oily, unpleasant palate. Very basic beer

Very pale yellow with a hint of caramel Almost no foam. Thin lacing. Nice happy aroma, geldings. Tastes sweetish but dry, also strange moldy taste.

330ml Flasche. Klar und golden. Kleine Schaumkrone. Typisch leichtes Lager. Gut trinkbar ohne besondere Geschmacksnoten.

Bottle, Light golden, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Light, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light corn and faint metal. Body is light, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light corn and fait metal. Finish is short, malty -lightly grainy and lightly swetish, light corn and metal and faint hoppyness. Watery lager with notes of sharp metal - that’s it.

Fairly decent pilsner. Very smooth with a fresh aroma. Nothing too spectacular except for the location.
