COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water, Malted Barley (2-Row British and Australian), Hops (Yakima Clusters and Styrian Goldings), Yeast, Sugar, Corn Syrup
Launched: 1961
Banks Beer, the beer of Barbados, is a premium pilsner style lager with a smooth, fresh aroma and a medium alcohol content. Banks is brewed from a pure classic blend of 2-Row British and Australian malted barleys deliciously flavored by Yakima Clusters and the noble Styrian Goldings aroma hops. It is however Barbados’ water, naturally filtered through limestone rock, along with our own special strain of yeast, which give Banks Beer its unique Bajan character and distinctive quality. Consistently the #1 choice among beer drinkers in Barbados since it was first produced in 1961.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours a pale gold (clear) with a white head. Aroma is of bread (grain), malts maybe some caramel. Taste is consistent a bit to sweet but still refreshing not a bad pale lager.

Bottle to bottle...not a good craft beer day. Wheat, skunk, hay. Lightish amber, but that’s the best I can do. Taste is a ’classic’ macro pilsner...lots of grains, skunk, no balance.

Bottle 33cl traded with CH-303 thanks ! A clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is on wet paper and corn sugar. Aroma is on wet paper, very very thin, dusty hops, and nothing very very poor, just some vague bitterness at the finish, no aromatic hops.

Weak hoppy, sweetish aroma. Clear yellow, little head. Little sour, little sweet. Oily, unpleasant palate. Very basic beer

Very pale yellow with a hint of caramel Almost no foam. Thin lacing. Nice happy aroma, geldings. Tastes sweetish but dry, also strange moldy taste.
