UPDATED: SEP 26, 2013 Nose is light, coffee, a little cola. Taste is vanilla, hazelnut, figs, slight lactose, sticky sweet slightly vinious finish. As it warmed it got a strong coffee liqueur taste. Mouthfeel far too thin for the style, perhaps suited to warmer climes. A thin stout.

275ml bottle from Beers of Europe. BBE July 2014. Aromas of treacle, dark sugar. Taste is coca cola. But not a bad thing necessarily.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - opaque black with a decent crema head. Nose - treacle with a slight tobacco note. Taste - chocolate nuts and burnt sugar. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - nice sweet stout.

Opaque black, little to no head, aroma of smoke and toffee. Similarly smoky flavour, an oddly water mid section, a fair bit of sweetness and a mild to moderate bitter finish. Decent.

A deep black stout appearance makes it appealing from the start, and while the malted and roasted aroma isnít as strong as it can be on other stouts, you can instantly tell what it is. A very sweet taste with the subtle roasted hints means this beer is very easy to drink, and quite appealing if you arenít one for heavy stouts.

Bottle at home from BM Bargains Watford. 89p special for a Barbados coutry tick. Aroma is woody, lactose sweet, damp, and toasted coconut. Rich mahogany brown deep red colour with a lasting thin tan head. Flavouir is composed of weird mix of sweet lactose sugars and tangy sharp roast. A little sickly sweetness. Again more toasted coconut. Finish is fairly high FG.

Hmm, certainly a different stout but Iím not sure if itís a milk stout per say. The aroma is light with just a tiny bit of roastiness shining through. The pour is nearl black w/ a thin tan head that doesnít leave much lacing. The taste is almost more sour than sweet w/ just a touch of that bitterness in the finish. Itís light and drinkable and Iím sure makes for a nice brew down on the island!

Stallion Stout has an extremely thick, beige head, an opaque, black-brown appearance, a few visible bubbles, and some lacing along the side of the glass. The aroma is of rich, sweet, creamy, medium-to-dark-roasted malt, dark fruit, licorice, and black coffee. Taste is of those elements, with cafe-au-lait, chocolate powder, and mild hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Stallion Stout finishes semi-dry, powdery, and ultra-drinkable. RJT

Bottle from Tesco. Almost black without a head. Has a milky roasted malt aroma and taste but fairly average for its style. Thereís a small sticky sweetness.

Bottle from Tesco for £1. Drunk at home. Black with a bluish-purplish tint, opaque. A brown head rises up quickly this dissipates. Aroma of caramel and molasses. Pleasant enough but it smells a bit artificial. Sickly sweet taste at first, like a mass-produced soda. Sweetness is then tempered by a bit of bitterness, but the sweetness comes back in the finish and aftertaste. Weak body. Not good.
