2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 yespr (22161) - Copenhagen O, - JUN 14, 2007
Barbadian kinda radler :) I was almost laughing at the brewery as I saw this, they also produce a malz beer, interesting selection of what I would call the two worst German contributions to the beer world. Anyhow: pours yellow to orange with a crispy white head. Aroma is sweet and lemon without being really citric. Flavour is sweet lemonade, clear sugarcane flavoured. Carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet finish. It is okay to drink on another humid day on the island.

Bottle. [Thanks to yespr for sharing this one] Average frothy white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with a pale yellow color. Aroma of citrus, lemon, lime and note much else. Light bodied with a thin texture and average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor, hint of acidic. Sweet fruity finish.

A radler, basically. Odd how these are becoming more common. Sweet, lemon-lime on the nose, ginger-ale on the finish.

Had this one bottled at the brewery in St. Michael, Barbados. Unusually good, nose of artificially flavored lemonade, profoundly sweet with just a hint of "beer" flavor. Refreshing. I’m somewhat embarassed to rate it so high.

The locals love this stuff in Barbados, as they do other Shandys, Not really to my liking it has an odd fruit flavour, a little malty and bitter, and was extremely light. This beer is as cheap as bottled water in Barbados .
