Bottle, small stable creamy head, clear deep golden to light copper, aroma of brown sugar and a touch of tobbaco, flavour of fruit and caramel with a strong bitterness, light long sweetish aftertaste. Easy to drink and quite good with food but not too exciting.

Thanks to erzengel for sharing. Pours a clear bright amber with a small loose tan head. The smell is fruity with a bit of caramel. The taste is fruity....taste follows nose ending dry with some fruitiness lingering. Light body and a bit slick. Fine carbonation that is relatively smooth.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A mid orange coloured beer with a weak white head. A very light nose with some straw like malt aromas. Dry mouthfeel. A bitter initial taste, zesty and fruity hops are prominent. This is followed by a dry, biscuity malt flavour, that lasts into the finish. Classic version of the style!

Thanks to Sean for this bottle. Shared with ThirstyBird. 50cl. Milder Antrunk, schön süffig. Dabei leicht karamell-getreidig. Der Hauptteil ist toll Ale-typisch, angenehm feinerb und für die 3,8% erstaunlich vollmundig.
Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, schön herb-malzig und toll ale-typisch.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cheap 500ml bottle from Aldi.
Gold with no head. Aroma of iron, with a similar metalic taste.
Very bland bitter. Would possibly taste better if consumed with crisps or nuts.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A nice easy drinking straight up british bitter. Slight fruity aroma. A slight sweet fruit flavour followed by a mellow dry bitterness. Not the most full flavoured beer I ever tasted but it’s pretty good stuff. This is half the price of most other beers in the shop and it’s tasty and good quality, making it extremely good value. Cheers.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Small offwhite head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Light, sugary papery aroma. Dry-sweet strawy papery taste with caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity caramelly aftertaste with spicy papery earthy notes. Bitterness lingers. Quite nice, but nothing special. (0.5l bottle, from Tesco Express, York.)

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Anaemic brown. I liked the aroma though - strong English malt dovetailing fruity bitter notes. OK taste overall, basic malty bitter. Palette too metallic, as is often the case with bottled beers. Cask is better.
