Can. An amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottled (from Beers Of Europe). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is not too much, some mild malts and hops (duh! surprise, but really, nothing to get in there). Flavour is some malts, rather bitter vegetably hops. Not that pleasant in any way.

500ml bottle from Lidl. Why do British brewers pasteurise? I can smell it a mile off. The promise of empty malts and boiled sweets. Some hop on the aroma. Its a dull bitter due to all life being boiled out of it. Some hop bite on the finish. Just so boring. Some Banks yeast.

Nitrokeg at The Black Horse, Cirencester, Gloucs. Amber, slow to clear with creamed head. Caramel, toffee, soggy newspaper. Some boiled hop in the background, but overall an homogenous mess.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2012 Bottled. A classic brown coloured beer with a whitish head. Has asulphuric and obviously pasteurised leafy nose, together with sweet caramel notes. Earthy, leafy and old fashioned in the mouth but actually quite drinkable. Acceptable especially at a quid. Score 3.0

Can from Bargin Booze! Amber/brown in colour with a big dense off-white head (if poured quickly into the glass). Aromas are soft, sweet malts with sulphur and light hops. Flavours are soft and fruity with a fairly dry finish. Pretty bland but very drinkable. A decent session beer.

FatPhil (6205) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 9, 2011
500ml bottle (random offy, Cambridge)
6- odd aroma, some aromatic components, even honey later, but a hint of something like baby puke.
3 Mid brown, brief head.
6 Massively honey retronasals and taste.
3+ Thinnish palate, crisp carbonation. Short sweet bitter finish. Hops a touch drying and resiny.
13- Adequate bottled beer. Mum liked it!
