COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special - Wetherspoon Spring 2013 Beer Festival
This beer is a compelling combination of crops, with the palest barley malt, malted wheat and golden oats creating a pale beer with a complex flavour and heart-warming, hoppy ending.

Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 10 April 2013. Poured a light golden colour with a tight white head. Aroma of some light soft fruit, mild straw and corn flakes. Flavours were very light; some grain, caramel and apricot. Finish was grassy hop bitterness, earthy and slightly soapy.

Pint at Weatherspoons in Arbroath. I felt this was pale and tasteless. The distinct lack of hoppiness was disappointing. I’ve had worse beers (Budweiser, Tennants), but I was very disappointed in this as a real ale.

Light golden, frothy thin white head
Aroma of almost nothing, slight fruit
Taste of soft pale light sweet fruity malts, getting a hint of fruit tea, sweet cereals, hint of peach, light floral hops
Palate - thin body, little oily. Finish as main flavour, smooth, that slight hint of fruit tea again
Overall - Average stuff
