Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear dark amber colour with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty grain, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110804]

[Cask at Charlie's Bar] The aroma is very light with notes of yeast and esters. The color is amber, it has no head. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit. It ends on an OK fruity bitterness. The body is very thin - probably because of the low ABV. I will never think of this as a mild - it neither has the look nor the taste of a mild - it is a light version of a bitter.

From cask. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small, off-white and creamy head. Aroma is mild fruity and toasted malty. Bitter, malty and vague caramelish. Ends dry, bitter and mild fruity.

Cask. Reddish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some toasted notes as well as dark fruits, wood and rather toffeeish. Flavour is quite much the same, but also has some raisins and mild riped fruits in it.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Nut brown. Eggfart aroma that gets milder over time. Roasty and light bodied with industrial flavour of apple and metal. Thin mouthfeel. Insipid.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Clear orange coloured with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, grass and hops. Fruity flavour of grass, hops and grape fruits. Dry hoppy finish.

Cask Conditioned
Amber color. Delicate: the malty aroma and the flowery taste; very light, absolutely drinkable.

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours clear amber with a creamy white head and lacings. A bit watery. Grain, bread and caramel.

Cask handpull at The Pheasant Ashford. Its crazy that I have not rated this. Deep reddish amber clear with thick cream head from the sparkler. Some sulphur and soft malts on the aroma. Some hard toffee in the mouth. Soft on the swallow with a bit more toffee an yeast on the very lasting finish. It hangs around in your mouth longer than you would expect. But its a light mild not a bitter

cask @ GBBF 2011. Pours a clear dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel toffee flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some weak hoppy hints.
