Can 500ml.
Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, old bread, caramel, light hoppy, light yeasty, UK yeast and vomit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100123]

Can. An amber beer wtih a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Not a mild in my book.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear dark amber with a dense off-white head leaving laces. Lightly nutty nose. Light body, low in carbonation, nuts and roasted malt with a metallic edge. Very subdued bitterness. Not much of a Mild. 210110

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2009 Keg Handpump at the Old Stable Inn, Weston super Mare 14/05/2002 Amber coloured mild and smooth on the palate. Slight hop finish.

bottle in hotel ... Pre Cropredy ... deep brown ... thin tan head ... soft metalic ... soft malt nose ... soft sweet thin malts ... quite a lot of metalic hop linger ... easy enough bit a little blah

Nitrokeg, smooth at The Black Horse, Cirencester, Glocs. Brown with creamed head. Cardboard, dry thin mild, but with a touch of sweetness. Toffee caramel and bready. Fairly ropey.

Bottled. A brown beer with a tiny off-white head. Very little going here. A bit of caramel sweetness. Little by way of aftertaste. The pasteursation is the most flavourful trait. A bit like an American Dark Lager only with less flavour.

Not a good combination between bitter and mild. This is as bland as dishwater. Drink ’proper’ mild instread if you can.

Chesnut with a creamy white lid. Non-metallic aroma including caramel, pine cone, even rosemary. Soft and biscuity with slight soapy, sultana and coniferous notes, caramel, Weetabix. Very reasonable beer from the can, retaining much of the subtle character of the cask version.
