Banks’s Mild is my first love in beers as I was brought up on it. Although only 3.5% it more than makes up for this with its full flavour and when kept in good condition a wonderful creamy head. I love it!

Dark amber in colour with a good sized foam off-white head. Hoppy with a slight toffee scent. Some slight carbonation. Bitter. Quite a dry finish. Hoppy, acidic & alround fantastic & well priced drinkability.

Can. Pours copperwith a diminishing white head. Biscuity and toffee malts dominate the taste but there’s some dry bitterness too and the palate is ok. Not bad for a mild in a can.

Another fave of mine, especially on a cold English night! Its a bit like drinking a real mix of nice stuff. Fruity, yet clean and long tasting. Creamy yet clear. Love it, but will have to wait till back in the cold country again.

On tap at Oddfellows Arms, Kegworth, Derbyshire - Mild aroma, light malt notes and subtle hops. Medium dark copper clear with off-white lacing head. Light watery body with light carbonation. Light sweet start, no acidity. Taste of tobacco leaf and raisin. Good bitter finish and after, nutty and lightly sweet. Nice session beer.
