2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask at Last Post. Pours clear golden with tight shaving foam head. Nose obscured by oiliness and soap.Tast mildy citrus and over very quickly. Overall a very mediocre offering but he biggest question must be how any brewer can produce such an insipid offering from two of the most aromatic and citrus inducing hops ( Citra & Nelson Sauvin) is beyond me.

Had this is 2013, go figure. Golden, thin head, fruity, honeyish hop character. Fresh, with a splash of sticky pale malts to complement the clementine hops.

Cask @ The Cannon, Newport Pagnell. Light gold. Smells of ammonia (read: cat piss). Some nice tropical fruit in the background. Not sure this beer is at its best. Taste is saccharin sweet but has a balancing bitter finish. Not good.

Bree Louise. Cask. Bright clear gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and smooth. Very modest carbonation in the light semi dry palate. Distinct honey and a little ripe orange. Light dry finish. Nice tasting beer but really needs a bit more decent carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask in Smith’s Tavern, Ashbourne. A pale golden ale with a small white head. Mild citrus aroma. Some good tropical fruit hop flavours going on, but this feels watery and need the flavours to be stronger.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear gold colour, white head. Aroma - subtle sweet tropical fruit, mango, gooseberry and grapefruit. Taste follows the nose. All quite subtle. Sweet malt and low bitterness. This is in very good condition and I can’t fault it. Super drinkable! Grand!

August 28, 2013 - gravity cask at Bree Louise. Clear gold, no head. Tangy fruit malt and light grassy bitterness. Tate follows but acetone and Appleseed bitterness. Light and slick and dead mouthfeel - quick finish. Citra and Nelson Sauvin? Pull the other one.
