Flavor is caramel, toast, bread crust, earthy spice, sweet, white bread crust, light nutty notes, fallen leaves and light spicy hops. Light to medium body, moderate strength carbonation and slick to sticky feel. Decent.

4 oz sample pours amber with a white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and yeast. Taste is sweet malt, grain and a bit of hops.

Pours a deep orange with a small tight head and very little lacing on the glass.
The aroma is malty and doughy. Some toasty malt, faintly herbal, with some caramel. The hops are light but noticeable.
The flavor is nicely malty but not without a very pleasant herbal bitterness. The beer is hearty tasting, lightly sweet but presents a decent depth of malt character with a nice balance with the hop bitterness.
Perfectly good beer, and by far better than anything I had expected from this brands lineup or from Point Oktoberfest.

This is brewed special for Hy-Vee and is a decent example of a marzen. Not my fav variety but a pleasant easy drink.

Aroma is nutty malts and a hint of smoke. The flavor is similar to the aroma along with a mild fruit overtone and a smooth finish.

Clear reddish amber,frothy head lasting shortly.Bits of lacing. A bit darker than the usual.
Aroma of mineral,sweet darkish,carmel.Brown sugar.Very mild almost unnoticable.
Taste of sweet carmel,brown sugar, slight toffee like.Slick smooth,carmel malt dominant,some mild spicey pepper like bitter in finish.MIld sweet cherry very slightly smokey.

Bottle from Hy Vee. I read up and it is apparently a fall seasonal obviously trying to utilize the Capitol Autumnal Fire motif. This poured a rich deep copper hued brown with a thin light khaki head. The nose has some rich caramel and peanuts. There is also some hint of milk chocolate. This tastes like iced tea and caramel. There is also a nice spicy pear note in the lightly smoky finish. This is quite pleasant.
