Now see, that’s how it’s done! This has a nice malt flavor with just the right amount of hops bitter on it to accentuate but not overwhelm the grain. I’m digin’ it! Still has a little of that acid finish but not nearly as bad as the lager. Good job guys/gals.

Aroma had a good initial fruit aroma tropical/ripe melon/sweetness. Some floral. Some bready buiscuit.
Taste has almost same aroma but with crisp malt but smooth and sorta creamy with a little bit of dry toastiness. Some yeastiness. Then a slight tangy finish some herbal in there-possibly berry like, pretty mild smooth bittering. Some nice complex hop flavors overall. Solid good average-above average ipa.

Pours clear copper. Aroma is pine and caramel malts. Caramel malt backbone, with a good blend of bittering hops. Mostly pine and slight citrus from the hops. Pretty run of the mill IPA, but good nonetheless. Could be more bitter, but Its a good starter IPA.

Bottle. Poured a darker orange copper color. Smaller white head that did last for a while. Lacing was left on the glass as it went. Aroma was mild citrus, grass and hops. Flavor was a little metallic, spruce and malty flavors. Malty backbone. Very even balanced. Ok ipa.

12oz bottle - pours orange with a perfect white head. Floral hops aroma. Very nice flavor good hops and malt balance. Not overly hoppy, though. This is more like a pale ale in the Northwest. Nice beer. Thank you, I’ll have another. I’m not sure why Ratebeer says this is from Omaha. The label claims Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 lancenelson (24) - Nebraska, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Starts out very mellow. A standard aroma that doesnt really stand out. Light on the bitters that eventually builds, but doesn’t ever get higher than a strong pale ale. Nice and smooth, though. Not a typical IPA, but a good beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fidelis83 (1589) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - AUG 15, 2012
Pours a lightish copper with a 2 finger, fluffy off white head. Aroma is biscuit, pine, light citrus and floral hops, caramel and a little toffee. Flavor is mroe biscuit, caramel, piney and planty hops are most prevailant, but some citrus as well, a slightly Englishy yeast profile, toast and some bitter pine and light grassiness to the finish. Palate is light to medium bodied, with a creamy to slick feel, mild carbonation and off dry finsh with a lingering bitterness clinging to the palate. O.K. overall. No major flaws, but nothing all that impressive.
