3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 heemer77 (5013) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - SEP 2, 2012Bottle from Hy Vee. The body was a deep bronze and orange colored brew. There was also a thin white head. The nose was sweet with pears and notes of cinnamon. There was also some bread crust and almonds. Flavors of sweet pecans and pears were all up front. There was also some notes of cinnamon spice. A decently tasty full bodied beer with a light caramel finish. There is a little kick of spice in the finish.

Hy-Vee tick @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. You’re the man, Jetson! Pours a bit hazy, rust orange appearance with a cream colored head. Lots of metal, caramel, a bit husky grainy, grassy aroma. Slightly gummy, toasty caramel malty, a bit herbal, fairly sweet flavor. Bleh.
2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 EtTuCthulhu (399) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAR 12, 2013
The color of the beer is a hazy golden orange with nearly no head, and the aroma is subtle with hints of both toasted and bready malts as well as dough yeast coming through. The taste is mildly sour, slightly sweet, and slightly salty, which is reminiscent of the main American piss waters with a little more body and character. The palate makes the beer drinkable without standing too far into the wild side, for it combines a medium body, soft carbonation, abrupt finish, and slick texture.

10/9/12. 12oz bottle from my parents in a care package, of all people - score random tick! Very clear, very light red pour (more like light amber) with a very, very small khaki head that’s gone fast and barely laces at all. Caramel and biscuity, grainy malt in the aroma with a hint of a metallic aspect. Lightly sweet, malty flavor with bits of caramel, toast, biscuits, and a touch of metal. Eh.

Decent all around lager. Good summer beer for hanging on the patio watching the world go by.

Pours a medium, orange-copper with a thin, white head. Aroma is caramel, toast, light cereal, bready yeast and light vegetal notes. Flavor is caramel, buttery toast, light cereal grain, grain husks, bready yeast and light, spicy hops. Palate is light and off dry throughout with a moderate, blanketing carbonation. Decent overall, a little sweet and buttery, but a decent all around "with food" kinda beer.
