2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2015 Tap, Baran Cafe, Bergen, 27/10/14. Unknowingly GA#1111. Witbier murk collared thinly but lacing big. Nose of dankness, flowers, peach, meat and tinned sweet corn off notes, juicy dried apricot and thistle. Tired meaty flowers flavour with impressions of bottled peach/pear juice, apricot, dirty yeast and sap. Grows a little. Very far removed from my idea of a GA.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ Baran. This is a cloudy golden one with a small just off-white top. Slightly citric and both fruity and grapefruity on the nose with traces of something that reminds me of brett. A non-extreme one but it smells quite alright this. It has a big-bubbly average carbonation level and a somewhat thin mouthfeel. More sweet fruits on the taste, soft traces of hay and, yeah sweet fruits. Not extreme on the flavor eiter, undoubtedly, but it’s easy and light drinkable. No clear off flavors, so I suspect this could sell quite a lot. 21.12.2012

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Fin lukt og utseende, gir en litt sur smak som minner om at den ikke er helt ferdig. Smaken forsvinner på 10 sekunder pg du sitter igjen med ingenting. Skuffet.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Baran. Has a hazy golden light straw-colour with a small white head. Aromas of spices, pale malt, hay, belgian yeast and some citrus. Not far from a wheat ale. Flavours of pale malt and some hay and hops. The mouthfeel is slick and light, and has a light bitterness. An easy-drinking and fresh ale. A decent summer ale.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ Baran Cafe, Bergen. Slightly hazy golden body, medium creamy white head. Nose is pale malts, faint grass tones, straw and hints of bubble gum. Taste is straw, pale malts, slight sulfurous hints, sweet grains and grass with some wheat tones in the back. Medium body and carbonation. OK, but a bit strange and not really in style; this is sort of a cross between a German wheat or even a Kölsch and a British bitter or Golden Ale. Nevertheless, it’s a fairly drinkable beer.
