2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Baran. Pours a pretty hazy deep brown colour with a medium, and a bit creamy, beige head. A good dose of leather in the aroma along with nuts, roasted malt and Danish rye bread. A light and nice roasted flavour with lots of nuts, bread and coffee. Has a light and slick mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. An easy-drinking and decent brown ale.

Taste is dark chocolate, cocoa, grain husks, licorice, salmiac and some metallic hints that fade over time. Dusty hops and biscuits in the back. Medium body and carbonation. OK, but a bit strange perhaps.
