The honey & malt react oddly at first but then it goes down smooth but with an odd sourness. lumpsowers (252), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

Pours a good looking light hazy gold under a thick two finger head that lingers well with lacing. Aroma of honey and musty yeast with notes of coriander. The taste is a blend of sweet malt and honey, with generous flavor added from the coriander and orange peels. Moutfeel is velvety smooth and creamy, with moderate carbonation. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Picked this up at some joint on the street in Montreal, so I could sup on something back in l’hotel. Pleasantly surprised to say that this is a lively, if not overly complex ale that has a robust yeasty body backed by fairly modest spice and honey elements in the finish. I’ve never been the biggest fan of bieres de miel, but this one has a gritty, saison-like character that almost wins me over. Nice. jujubeast6000 (777), Houston, Texas, USA

Strong honey taste. Some citrus and orange and lemon too. Mostly light tasting, sweet aftertaste, very floral. delnoche (222), Germany

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden pour with a short-lived, bubbly white head. Aroma is mainly of honey and malt with slight notes of citrus and stonefruit. Flavour also has honey and malt upfront with hints of citrus, pineapple, banana and a little bit of spice. Medium body with prickly carbonation and a long sweet, slightly dry, finish. This is a well crafted beer, the sweetness being fairly well balanced, however its just not my sort of thing.
