kennydiaz (182), staten island, New York, USA Sep 18, 2008 NICE STRONG TASTE FULL OF SPICE AND FLAVOR.IT TASTE AND SMELLS OF HONEYAND CORIANDER. I THINK ITS WORTH A TRY. Beerlando (2283), Orlando, Florida, USA Sep 17, 2008 Courtesy SoLan. The body is a hazy and glowing orange-gold with a small, foamy, off-white head. Runny legging and sudsy spots of lace mark the glass. The aroma features honey prominently, alongside candied orange peel and subtle coriander. The underlying malt base shows sweet and creamy toffee notes. Flavors are again sweet, honey and candy sugar as the staples, with delicate spicing from the aforementioned elements lending depth and complexity. The yeast imparts a creamy, semi-dry feel throughout. Less substantial in palate than one would expect for a beer this sweet, but that is a good thing as any cloying stickiness is avoided. Carbonation is moderate. Not my favorite style, but overall this is a pretty solid brew. gringo332 (236), Richardson, Texas, USA Sep 17, 2008 Smells of honey and malt. great honey, spices and apple. White large head. I thought it had lost of flavor. ewestern (198), Ohio, USA Sep 12, 2008 Dark yellow pour with a thick white head. Head stayed around and left good lacing Sweet malty scent. Malts, honey and spices hit the tongue. Finishes with an orange peel taste with some honey and a slight bitterness. There is a bite to the spice and honey mixture that smooths out as you drink it. There is an oddness to the bite in the finish that I can not quite pinpoint, almost and alcohol flavor to it. doublebock (196), USA Sep 3, 2008 Are these people smoking crack? This beer rocks. Cloudy golden clolor. Honey banana aroma. Sweet malty flavor that is a crisp and refreshing and accented by honey and a citrus-orance spicy flavor. Borresteijn (1347), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 19, 2008 Bottle @ De Geuzen. Dark golden colour, dense white head. Aroma of malts, honey, ripe fruits. Flavour is soft and sweet, malts, fruity, a bit sour towards the finish, honey. Very nice strong ale. texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA Aug 11, 2008 Updated: Aug 13, 2008A light amber golden slightly hazy beer with a thin head that had a strong nose of fruit and yeast. the mouth feel was slightly carbonated with a hint of spice. the finish was clean Beerman6686 (1263), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 1, 2008 Poured a light orange color with a white foamy head. Aroma was pretty bland, but theres was some spice and fruitiness in there. Flavor was really sweet and a bit thick, i guess due to the honey. Very cloying and too sweet.
