Moderate sweet and light biter flavor. Light bitter long finish. Creamy/syruply palate. I really like this. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Apr 19, 2007 (33cl bottle, best by 07/09/08) Crystal clear apple juice body topped by small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, peach, some honey, light alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, peach/nectarine, some alcohol, honey, light bread/cookie, herb. Medium-full body, some stickiness. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Apr 16, 2007 This pours a clear, pale yellow body with a short-lived creamy white head. It smells of sweet pale malts, a drop of honey sweetness, and a sharp floral bouquet. The flavor’s perhaps a bit too sweet, grainy malt, honey, warm spices, yeast, and a moderate flowery bitterness. It’s got an almost sugary sweet finish tempered slightly by spices and a light hoppy bitterness.

beerandrugby (210), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Apr 16, 2007 Belgian beer festival Brussels 2006: After I had this beer I peed on a Belgian police car...sorry brussels police! KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Apr 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hollow orange that has about as much pep as a crowd at a curling match between Ben Stein and Henry Kissenger. Smells of plastic figurines with a slight peach timbre. Flavor is honey-infused nutmeg with an orange finish. Average mouthfeel. Almost pumpkin-like as it warms. Plastic beer. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA Apr 4, 2007 11.2 oz. Beer is clear, medium-cool brown colored with a large, frothy, off-white, head. Diminishes into a ring of lace and some vapors on the surface.

Engaged at first sniff. The honey is full or character/terrior and is absolutely undeniable. Supported with moderate malt notes of toasted grain, caramel; Hoppy with moderate-to-heavy heady tropical floral notes, light lemon; Yeasty with with a moderate note of basement; Heavy notes of wildflower honey, dried orange peel.

The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lightly-to-moderately acidic with a longish, lightly bittersweet, lightly warm finish.

Remarkable palate. The body is medium-to-full, the texture is velvety and the carbonation is lively.

Gorgeousity! DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 4, 2007 Bottle from Capone’s. Clear gold pour with 1-finger whitish head. Aroma of caramel malt, big honey, apricot, orange marmalade. Tastes honey malty, with citrus, spices, and some finishing banana notes. probstk (1005), Nepean, Ontario, Canada Apr 1, 2007 650 ml bottle from Trappe a Fromage, shared with Phil, served cold in a tulip glass. MR31/07.
App.: Cloudy golden, small white head.
Aroma: Tons of sickly sweet peach/apricot – like Fuzzy Peach candies. Very floral and perfumed, very fruity, a bit of tart honey as it warms.
Palate: Medium, silky body, soft, effervescent carbonation.
Flav.: Bread, yeast, bubblegum and cotton candy, some honey, a bit of banana. The end is a bit yeasty with a little alcohol. Somewhat sweet, slightly cloying.
The nose is over the top for me, but I could still drink it.
