This warm golden blond has a nice head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is sweetish with notes of fruit. The flavour is sweet, but not sticky, and the warmer it gets, the more dominant is the honey flavour. The finish is nice bitter/acidic and gives a nice counterweight to the honey.

Full body taste is immediate. Honey / Hoppy finish, but not too sweet. This is not a session Belgian for me, I prefer Kwak or Karmellier Tripel. Cheers,

On tap. Golden color. Average white creamy head that lasts for a while. Aroma is malt and honey. Good medium to full body. Flavor is malty and very honeyish. finish has very mild bitterness. Not a well-balanced beer.

0.33l bottle at home. Clear golden color with thin white head. Average lacing. Sweet and citric sour aroma. Thick mouthful. Mainly sweet taste with some spice, yeast and alcohol. Tiny hint of sournes.

(Bottle, labeled Barbar Special Blonde, BB 17/05/2008) Pours a clear orange body with a small white head. Aroma of honey, coriander, and earthiness. Flavor of honey, malt, and coriander. The honey just does not come across right.
