Bart (1625), Vosselaar, Belgium Jun 13, 2006 Updated: Jun 21, 2006Hazy yellow coloured, with some light carbonation and an average white head. Some sweet spicy-herby aroma, rather malty with some lighter hoppy hints. Medium body. Finish is more sweeter, little bitter and spicy. Some light alcoholic touches. Not bad, special one. stouby (1932), Holbaek, Denmark Jun 5, 2006 Draught at Waterhuis.
Dark golden/copper with a white head, mostly diminishing, good lacings. Aroma moderate/heavy malty (honey), moderate hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, moderate bitter. Not harmonic. Medium body, oily, soft carbonated. french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada May 22, 2006 Nice little blonde... Almost feels like a mini-Fin du monde with an added twist of honey. Not bad... Fantomas23 (463), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA May 21, 2006 I, and not my wife, ordered this one. I was surprised at just how much honey I could taste. The sweetness and freshness of the honey made the beer different and it probably helped that I had this one in place of dessert at De Beiaard. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England May 15, 2006 Bottle (from Bitter Virtue). Spicy alcohol, sweet malts and enjoyable fruitiness. Not a huge depth of flavour but fairly drinkable for a strong beer. MPA (482), Nřrrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark Mar 24, 2006 Bottle. Golden with a small dense, white head. Along with the fruity notes, I also picked up some vingar in the aroma. Sweet, alcoholic and pleasant. IvanLauridsen (32), Aarhus, Denmark Mar 12, 2006 Bottle. Golden amber coloured with a slightly hazy appearance. Strong in alcohol. Sour fruit flavour. Malt finish.
