nose is sooour with a bit of hop citrus banana character. the mouth reminds me of a tripel with a wisp of honey in the end. definately can taste the honey here. pretty light and refreshingly good for 8%. Eructoblaster (1480), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Nice cloudy golden body topped with a relatively thin foamy head that lasts until the end. Pleasant yeasty and fruity (mainly citrus and orange) aroma that carries a tiny note of honey. Taste is very well balanced and hides the high percentage of alcohol adequately. The marriage of spicy and honeyish flavours is interesting. Very drinkable... Jukkabro (3007), Tampere, Finland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2004 Golden, somehow cloudy color. Big head vanished fastly. Strong honey aroma, not much else. Flavor is all honey with very cloying aftertaste and warm mouthfeel made by high alcohol content. Carbonation is high, so start has some crispiness. Too strong honey flavor for my taste, full body and warm ending are nice. Wheatsheaf (104), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2004 660ml bottle. *Note that this rating refers to the beer brewed under license in Quebec by Brasseurs RJ, and not the original brewed in Belgium by Lefèbvre. A golden-yellow ale with an aroma of bread and grassy hops. Light-to-medium body with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel and a lively carbonation. Sharp, grainy character up front, with a candy-like sweetness. Some peppery bite at the finish, along with a grassy/herbal hoppiness. Honeyish aftertaste. Not bad. A little buttery. Medium amber-orange, a little hazy, with foamy lacing off-white head. Medium body with medium-heavy carbonation, light burn. Sweet start, light malts, belgian yeast, but no honey. Finish is still sweet, with a little dryness. Alcohol. After is sweet with yeast notes, bread, orange blossom. lachesis (759), St Idesbald, Belgium

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2004 Pure honey aroma, some maltiness. Soft, sweet, and a little cloying. Some alcohol bitterness but little hop balance. This beer is too sweet for me to enjoy more than one. Still, I have tasted few honey beers that have captured the essence of honey better than this. Decent experimental beer.
