Pure honey aroma, some maltiness. Soft, sweet, and a little cloying. Some alcohol bitterness but little hop balance. This beer is too sweet for me to enjoy more than one. Still, I have tasted few honey beers that have captured the essence of honey better than this. Decent experimental beer.

Orange yellow with steady foamy white head, lace. Malt-honey aroma. Medium-body. Quite tasteless malts with a bit honey sweetness. Bitter alcoholic finish. Drinkable blond. (6/4/5/3/13 3.1)

Golden color, small white head. Strong honey aroma. Carbonated, bitterish, mixed with honey. Sweeter when aged? (7/3/8/4/15 3.7)

Bottled. Slight honey aroma to this blonde beer served in its own mug. The honey taste is a bit overpowering and chewy at first but becomes more mellow towards the end of the drink. Too sweet for my taste.

(Bottled) Slightly hazy golden with a medium, firm head and decent lace. Aroma of pale malt and honey, with some pear notes. Flavor is pale-malty, pear-fruity, quite strongly honeyish, but remains natural and not cloying. Medium to full body with medium carbonation. A smooth and balanced Belgian Strong, if you like honey. (Bottled, was 8-4-7-4-14=3.7) Blonde color (Barbar’s frosted glass so couldn’t tell more) with small head. Very strong, quite sweet and nice honey aroma. Soft, malty flavor with plenty of honey. Quite sweet, but balanced taste. Smooth, although a bit carbonated palate with a sticky honey feel. A well-made and refreshing honey ale.

Mildly spicy apricot aroma. Pale, golden, straw colour and slightly hazy with thin white head. Sweet initial flavour enveloped by nice yeast spiciness finishes with a long citrus flavour. Alcohol very apparent. Carbonation is a bit prickly on the tongue and mouthfeel is quite lively. An overall impression of sweetness but this has a nice bite to it. Bottle.

Cloudy yellow-gold. White, billowing head. Peach (yeast) & honey aroma w/ a peppery spiciness & a piny dewiness. Light, lively feel. Almost mead-like w/ honey dominating flavour but also tones of orange, lemon, coriander, marshmallow, & pine. Finish is dry, leaving the tongue mildly numb.

Pours from the bottle a slightly hazy pale yelow colour with not much in the way of head. Dry slightly alcoholic finish follows up a omnipresent but mellow honey flavour. Bit of alcohol in the nose. Enjoyable but not something I would drink on a regular basis.

Slightly hazy gold colour with a big, fluffy white head. Great sweet & yeasty aroma with strong honey notes. Ingredients list honey, coriander and bitter orange, and all of them come through in the flavour. Quite a sweet beer over all, but a nice, dry bitterness in the finish. A very nice treat.
