SeanMacGC (233), Dublin, Ireland Apr 4, 2009 Bottle, 330ml. Pours clear golden, with compact white head. Good nose, but not too much of the honeyed sweetness. Decent on the palate, with sweet cereal and some honey notes. Very decent ale. frylock (998), Buffalo, New York, USA Apr 4, 2009 Clear pale golden color. Sweet honey and candy filled aroma. Crisp and light mouth-feel, a sweet brew in which the taste of honey grows towards the finish. Nice aftertaste. Very yummy! 17thfloor (1403), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 24, 2009 Pours a hazy glowing golden with a creamy white froth. Sweet cloying aroma of honey, crackers, donuts, fruits and spices. Flavor follows aroma, doughy, honey, like a sticky-bun, spices are quite strong but harder to pick out/ define. Medium syrupy body that is a full mouthful, softer crisp carbonation. Honey aroma.Bright spicy flavor with honey and a malty finish -- fairly sweet. Medium-full body, high carbonation. Ok, but not spectacular. KnN (712), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Feb 16, 2009 Updated: Mar 25, 2009On Tap at Max’s Belgian Festival in Baltimore. One of the best beers we tried at Max’s. Poured a cloudy gold color with a thin white head. Aroma was spicy honey and a bit of cinnamon. Flavor was hone and malt with a really full mouthfeel and a nice round warm flavor. The honey was apparent, but not overwhelming. Nice beer.
