Pours nicely with a golden body and frothy white head. Aroma is of honey, of course, and indistinct spices. Spicy taste with some light fruit (mostly banana) and a slightly sweet finish. A new favorite.

Bottle from Foodery. Straw yellow color with a little orange and cloudiness. Moderate head. Nice warm honey aroma that mixes with bready caramel malt. Yeast and some fruit on nose as well but I’m missing the wheat. Taste is similar withpepper and honey aftertaste.

Poured a hazy brownish orange. The honey is very strong in the aroma, some mild fruit notes also. Have a malty, spicy and of course honey flavour. This is my first honey ale, but if others taste similar to this, it is definately a style I will embrace. I was happy to try this one and will have it again.

0.33l bottle from Belgium. Pour nice orange/brown colour with a good creamy head. Smell is distinct honey and some alcohol, taste is much the same with sweetness from the honey all the way through until the medium alcohol finish. Honey beers are an odd concept but this is a nicely balanced, natural tasting one, very enjoyable.
