Dark fruit taste, a pungent odor and retains the sweetness of the regular honied Barbar. Opaque brown color.

Dark brown coloured beer with large rocky off-white head and no carbonation visible. Sweet spicy and malty aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is malty sweet with some fruity hints ending bitter dry. Nice one!

Very nice Bok beer with most notably it’s taste of honey. Makes this a very enjoyable, sweet and malt bok.

Honey and spices, brings memories of dark woods and snow, fantastic head and a deep deep red color. Make sure you pour this in the appropriate glass with plenty of head room. Complex tastes with honey being dominant carry through, but a bit too high an alcohol content and a slightly disappointing end leave a little (but just a little!) to be desired. This is definitely a "winter warmer" and it WILL keep you warm :)

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2011 Lovely bottle. Dark brown with a grey head. Nice aromatic caramel and dough base with some spices (cinnamon), figs, honey, soy sauce and liqorish. Medium, typical body that’s balanced at the start, then some sweetness and finishes with a light, pleasant alcohol burn. Fits my taste well. (33cl bottle)

Tap @ De Boterwaag. Dark copper colour with a creamy, tanned head. Flavour is sweet, aroma of nuts and grapes. Too much sweetness to be a bock, in my opinion. More like a dubbel or bsa. Quite ok.
