Pours very dark red. Aroma of honey and raisins. Taste is sweet and spicy with a tiny bit of bitterness at the end. Honey, oranges, sweet malt, pepper. That’s one tasty honey beer.

Bottle. Dark brown color with small fast-disappearing head. Aroma of coffee/chocolate with honey notes. Sweet taste and light alcohol notes (8,5%!). Strong but drinkable beer. Interesting.

Visual: Pours malty dark brown with minimal quickly dissipating head, a thin layer of retention, lots of steady streams, no lacing. Nose: caramel malts all day long (lvl-5)-pungency Attack: soda-fizzy, light creamy mouthfeel Mid-palate: (lvl-6)-sweetness, (MAIN) malts, cola, honey, molasses, subtle orange oils Finish: coriander, stealth hops mixed with malty sweet crisp finish. Summary: Incredibly smooth. It has just the right balance of heaviness, complexity, and crispness which makes it so drinkable. It drinks like a less-sweet/more malty Cola with a creeper buzz.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Dark brown body with a large beige head that quickly fades. No lacing. Aroma of raisin, dark chocolate and brown bread. Rich, sweet flavour - fig, toffee and honey. Medium body with a creamy texture. Lively fizz. A decent beer. Maybe too sweet for my taste.

Pours a clear, deep brown almost black color, topped with a tan colored head, with decent retention. The aroma is malty with the addition of some honey. The taste is bittery, finishing with a roasty feel. Quite strong but drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2014 Bottle @ Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Served in hazy glass so the blackness and the beige head can only be approximated. Smell of fresh vanilla, burnt caramel, bitter chocolate and oak chips. The alcohol is obvious from the aroma. A glorious full molasses and clove sweetness greets the lips on the first sip. Full, syrupy palette, with the tickle of the carbonation like forepIay before the final carnal swallow. I don’t get so much honey from this, but I love it all the same.

Dark brown beer with a off-white head. High carbonation. Besides an malty taste nothing that makes this beer stand out. This beer is made with honey and that is the only thing that makes this something of a special beer. Not to much but just enough to give this beer a nice twist.
