Because the warrior needs to rest in winter as well, the Lefebvre Brewery has produced for you, from October to February, a winter Barbãr Brassin.
Issue of high fermentation, Barbãr winter Brassin is a brown ale containing Honey (2,5%). It is consumed cold, at approximately 5°C.

Un peu surestimée à mon goût. Elle est très ronde, gros arôme de miel fort de montagne. L’alcool est peu présent malgré son titrage mais ne porte finalement que peu de corps ou d’arômes. Agréable, équilibrée, peu écoeurante mais rien de surprenant.

Sweet, fruity aroma - plum, cherry, black currant. Dark brown colour, not very tall tan head. Taste is sweet and fruity, just like the nose. Bitterness is low. Overall nice beer, nothing special, but just good.

Robe brune, légèrement ambrée. Mousse bien. Le miel domine, mais on sent aussi des saveurs de fruits noirs, pruneau, biscuit et levure. Légèrement sèche en bouche. Longue en bouche. Texture épaisse et carbonatation très fine: super texture. Une excellente bok.

0,33L swing-top bottle (from Wine of Galilee, Talllinn). Pours dark ruby-black with light tan head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is fruits, plums, minerals. Flavor is sweet, fruits, citrus, plums, caramel, burnt sugar, metallic notes, and spices. Finish is sticky sweet and fruity. Overall: good brew.

330ml bottle. Murky dark brown color. Small size, brownish head, stays. Plastic, caramel, sweet, raisins, alcohol in aroma. Roasted malts, alcohol, faint chocolate, dark fruits in taste. Roasted cereals and alcohol in aftertaste. Crisp mouthfeel. Roasted oats in burps.

Bottle. Dark brown with small white head. Spicy aroma, yeast, bread, pastry, grass, leaves, light caramel. Taste is light sweet, fruity, pastry, I felt like I was having liquid cake. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, creamy texture. Very pleasant, dessert beer.
