bottled. Lively mouth-feel of brown ale w/ slight silver head. Smells of yeast, spice, & malty alcohol. Taste is sweet malts laced w/ lots of alcohol. A sweet bread Belgian. Hints of orange citrus, coriander, and other spices. Gets extra points for being this dark, having these flavors, and not being too sweet w/ candi sugars. A very good Belgian. Int. Beer of the Month Club.

In Darma Bar in the Israeli north. From tap. Dark with slight head. Can't tell the nose. Taste has some honey and spice. It's decent - certainly better than Maccabi or Gold Star! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, 25cL. @Festival_de_Namur (4/7). A dark brown opaque beer with a medium off-white head ; average retention. Roast, honey, light caramel, nut, prune, chocolate. Medium sweet, round, warming, light to medium dry bitter refreshing. Full body, thin oily texture, soft carbonation, sweet honey roasty finish. Overall, a great belgian strong ale ; nice honey roasty character.

Corpo medio-pieno, ben carbonata, texture oleosa.

Served in chalice at 3•. Pours very dark brown with a big crisp white head which lasts all the way to the bottom. Smell is underwhelming, not really of anything. Taste is sweet with subtle honey and malty undertones. Alcohol content is not readily apparent but builds in the aftertaste. A very enjoyable drink which I shall certainly have again.

Gyenge gyümölcsös, halvány karamelles beütésű illat. Gyümölcsös, nagyon picit citromos jelleg, kevés karamell íz is felfedezhető, és persze a háttérben folyamatosan ott lebeg a méz. Nagyon enyhén keserű. Szinte semmi utóíz. Kifejezetten testes sör.
