Can’t remember too much of this one, it was so long ago. Brown body with decent white head. Tasted sweet with a strong, hoppy finish.

Bottle. Labelled Barbar Bok. Dark brownish ruby pour with a short tan head that doesn’t last long. Light aroma has notes of malt, brown sugar, raisins and berries. Flavour is fruitier with more dark fruits and hints of cinnamon, cola, cherry, ginger and molasses. Light, almost thin mouthfeel with fairly high carbonation and a moderate sweet and spicy finish. Quite sweet but otherwise a very good bock, nicer and more well balanced than the regular Barbar.

Bottle from 2005 (5 years old). Maarvelous aroma with violets and red forest fruit. Fruity taste with a balanced swetness. Complex taste with a realy big body. One of the best bock beer I’ve tried.

330 mL bottle. Pours black with a one finger khaki head into a snifter. Nice malty aroma, lots of plumb, raisin, fig, sweet chocolate. Again, lots of plumb in the flavor, more pronounced than any other brew I’ve had. Blends well with chocolate malt, fig, slight vanilla. Good stuff. Well blended and smooth throughout. Medium bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and a low level of carbonation. I probably didn’t do this one justice, a fine brew here.

I’m not 100% sure if this is the same beer, It was Barbar bok.. Didn’t see "winter" on the bottle... Dark deep red colour. Goes to black. A lot of foam, but won’t hold long enough for me. Sweet, fruity smell, some honey, some spices. The foam looks more like soda-foam to me. Fruity, sweet (honey) taste, a bit different, probably cause the honey. Not bad, but not really a beertaste for me.
