0.33 l bottle. Non-transparent dark brown colour wit a rocky pale brown head, the sparling’s lively. Smell of fruit, yeast, malt and spice. The beginning is sharp, taste is sweet. The aroma is of floral hops, roasted malt, yeast and spice, finish’s (for me a bit too much) alcoholy, bitter with notes of honey and dry. Body’s full, texture is oily.

Draft at Hamiltons in San Diego. Aromas of chocolate toasted nuts and yeasty dough. Tastes a little like grape jolly rancher. Pretty good.

Dark brown, small head. The label says honey, coriander and curacao, but I almost cannot taste anything of it. Maybe a bit of coriander, furthermore it’s malty, sweet with a slightly dry finish. Nothing special.

On tap. Poured a dark brown/black with not much head. Caramel, grape, fruit, roasted malt, and hi-c aroma. Fruit juice and sweet flavor. An unexpected but ok beer.

Got this in a beer of the month. Great aroma and taste, very nice winter bok. Sweet and spicy and perfect for cold winter nights.

Nice looking, orange-tinged brown. Thick off-white head. Complex full nose, get something different each time I whiff it and as it warms. Baked bread, vanilla, molasses, plums. Palate is bubbly, a bit tart at 1st then balanced by a bit sweet. Raisins, caramel, thick and syrupy palate. A tiny bit thin. Pretty decent stuff, basically a doppelbock.

Pours a medium to dark brown with a large off-white head made up of large bubbles. The strongest aroma in this beer is sweet molasses, but the bottle I am drinking also smells a little skunky. This beer is a little sweet for my taste and doesn’t have enough other flavor to cut through that sweetness. Overall, not my favorite beer.

Groumet beer of the month december 12pack. A giant fomy head gives way to decadent cherry characters that run wildly on the pallate. Bold notes of coriander, supplemented by dark fruits and some clove-spice character from the begian yeast. White pepper, honey, and strong sweetness jumps out dominately and this brew then ends on a dry side where one just has to go back for more. Enjoy!
