Shared this one w/SkyCop32. Pours a dark amber color. Aromas of dark malts, fruit, and a touch of smoke. Roasty malt flavor that bitters towards the end.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 tokyogoat (1504) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 25, 2009
Pours a deep cola brown with two fingers of head.
Nose is raisiny, roasty, and sweet.
Taste is a little thin, but nice, front is crisp and fruity, raisins, grapes, lemon peel, middle is a little sweet, molasses, brown sugar, table sugar, and washes quickly to a deep and roasty backend. Beer really shines on its finish, spicy, roasty, fruity, very complex and the thinness makes the flavors dance around perfectly.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JackfromJax (23) - Florida, USA - DEC 22, 2009
Pours very dark amber to brown with ruby highlights. Head discipates quickly but lingers at edge of glass. Aroma is rich with dark fruit and a slight roast. Initial mouthfeel is medium full. Taste is rich with dark fruit and candy. There is significant residual sweetness remaining but a slightly dry/bitter finish. Balance is definitely toward the sweet. I suspect a blend of old and young. Overall a very good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Soonah (1120) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 10, 2009
Dark brown pour, almost clear. The head was light tan. The aroma was malt, spice and light chocolate. The flavor was lots of malt with a bit of chocolate and a hint of alcohol. Body was on the thin side but overall it was a pretty enjoyable beer.
