11.2 oz. Murky brown pour with a big off white head that doesn’t last. Aroma is rather nice - raisins, light hops, good caramel malt, and spices. Not overly spiced, which is good - anise, clove. A little alcohol in the nose. Very lively on the palate. Tinny malt in the aftertaste. Cola, some toffee. Aroma is better than the flavor. And it’s a little over-carbonated for me. Regardless, it’s still a nice beer.

A clear dark brown colored beer, with a huge dark beige foamy head. This head doesn’t stays for long. It leaves a lacework on the inside of the glass. The aroma has a lot of fruits like raisins. Also corriander and some honey. In the taste there is the sweetness of the honey, also cherries. There is some malt. In the back there herbs. It’s a nice warm, beer for the winter.

330 ml bottle. Dark fruit aromas, but I am not sure about the honey. Raisins and plums fit. Murky, near black, color with a tan head that didn’t stick. Medium+ body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is dark fruit over dark malt. Finish is not exactly dry, but it isn’t all that sweet either. Bitter seems more from burnt malt than hop. However, it is a good drink, and well worth experiencing. I am assuming this is a bottle conditioned lager!

Dark brown with a fluffy short-term head. Honeyish but not over sweet. Spicy and smooth in the mouth. Nicely balanced beer rather than an attack on your buds.

Bottle poured into snifter- poured 20% transparent when held directly to light source, medium carbonation of tiny bubbles, light tan head floated around for awhile, very light lacing. Aroma of yeast, sugar, various dark fruits, and a note of molasses. Hits the mouth with a medium body, dark malts hit the mouth heavy at first, a nice dark molasses taste comes in the middle, a bit of a nutty finish for me with a slight warming side effect. I have to make some time to enjoy this one...

Dark brown with a disappearing tan head. Complex aroma with fruity yeast, dark dried fruits, some honey and a hint of bubblegum. Rather sweet with dark malts and dried fruits flavour, and warming alcohol. Not the most extravagant beer in the genre, but a solid choice.

Bottle - 330ml. Dark brown body with low carbonation and a thick, lasting beige foamy head. Nice malty aroma with honeyish and fruity hints. Well balanced taste that carries vineous, plummy notes. It ends with a decent bittersweet, warming finish. Good Winterbok.
