Aroma is unusual - a touch astringent, some alcohol, spicy clove yeast, and a touch of malt. Flavor is more mild. Cloves, some orange, a touch of bready yeast, some bittering hops and honey on the finish. Unusual and well put together beer.

Flaska från beernavigator. Gyllenfärgad, klar vätska, lågt vitt skum. Stor fruktig doft av mogna äpplen, söt tung blomdoft och honung. Smaken är söt men inte för mycket, den är elegant, som ett ljust sött vin, smak av honung, söta gröna druvor, gröna russin och mogna äpplen. Liten beska och jästsmak. Riktigt god.

pours almost clear light golden with a decent white head, some retention and lacing. loads of coriander, honeyed and sugared malts, pale fruitiness, some phenols, candi golden sugar, candied ginger and coriander, very spicy brew - also some pepper and yeast. very hint of acidity. bright carbonation, light body - oily, decent grassy-spicy finish. boozy, sugary and the rest of the brew is overshadowed by coriander. Pours cloudy copper with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, honey, alcohol and paper. Flavour is caramel, sweet honey and alcohol.

Bottle at Toone, Brussels. Cloudy blonde - I think - but served in a frosted glass so hard to tell how cloudy. Decent head. Slight lambix citrus aroma. Taste has marzipan, banana and is well balanced with a bitter tang. Slight fizz. Very good.

Smells like honey, little bit of alcohol, you can smell the sweetness, beautiful honey color, citrusy. You can smell the alcohol a little, but you sure can’t taste it, which is a downer. I love the aftertaste, little bitter, tangy but way too much CO2!
Almost a great beer, needs more ABV maybe some age and you have a great beer.

The honey was a little overpowering but I adored the secondary fermentation so what’s a brother going to do?

This was solid all the way through. A nice fresh aroma, some definite honey in both aroma and beer but not too much. Crisp and refreshing.
