polomagnifico (420), Saginaw, Michigan, USA Jan 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus fruit, flowers, and caramel. Medium amber hue with an average sized off-white head that mostly diminished and left ok lace. Flavor is smooth and fruity, with a caramel malt tone throughout. Palate is light and soft. Clean feeling and not bad at all. The best beer from the history of beer package.
stison42 (317), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA Sep 20, 2008 Clear red, no head. No taste or aftertaste. Fresh enough but is boring. Lame is the word. lightning9191 (74), Christiansburg, Virginia, USA Aug 11, 2008 This beer pours a deep coppery color with a finger and a half of off-white foam. The nose is sweet maltiness with a little hops. The taste reminds me of a red ale. It is malty, nutty, but clean tasting. It seems well balanced. Not huge on flavor, but not bad. The carbonation is medium with a medium body. Hance07 (182), DownSouth, Georgia, USA Jul 26, 2008 Pours copper with good sized offwhite head. Faint hops on the nose. The flavor is a bit of hops but overall pretty watery. Not a bad beer but nothing to get excited about. hopscotch (4588), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jul 12, 2008 Bottle... Clear orange lager with golden highlights and a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Decent retention. The reserved aroma is of toffee with some pleasant toasted notes. Also, a note of something I can’t identify... a fruit? fermentation? All beer is fermented, but it isn’t supposed to literally smell like the fermentation process, is it?. Not unpleasant, but certainly odd. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Perfectly balanced, but fairly bland. Sweet toffee equaled by bitter, minerally hops. Crisp, bittersweet finish. It’s not offensive, it’s just not... much. Bottle provided by scubarex! 1FastSTi (2402), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Apr 30, 2008 Pours to a filtered amber body with a mostly lasting tall foamy light beige head. The aroma is corn silage and a light pine hop. The flavor is a watery and slightly metallic corn silage and light bittering hop. Boring metallic palate is so very watery and light.
