12 oz bottle from a sampler at Publix. Poured a clear dark amber color with a thin off white head. The aroma was caramel. The flavor was malty, with a sweet twang in the finish.

Amber body. White head that leaves instantly. No lacing. Smell is of a very small amount of soy sauce and vegetable soup. Taste is blah. Some malt with sour fruit. Palate is way too watery. Overall I honestly can say I won’t ever drink this again....actually I kind of want to drain pour this but hate the thought of wasted alcohol makes me sad. I hate these tough choice of life!

Pours an average amber with an aroma of chocolate banana and light hay. Flavor is plastic sweet bread and lightly malted cheese. Tingly mouthfeel. Bleh.

this pours a dark amber to brown color with very little head. the aroma is very malty and little in anything else. the flavor is very bland of mainly cheap malt. there is no complexity in it. the palate is very watery and nothing to this beer, i would not recommend

Ewww...this one tastes a little rotten. Predominant flavor of apple. Rancid egg like smell. Weak, sour aftertaste. Watery texture. Came in a gift pack so I hope the other 11 are better than this.

Clear amber. Small white head. Aroma of caramel, soap, and adjuncts. Tastes the same, with water. Thin, phony, and boring.

12 oz beer of America. Dark red/orange hues foamy head medium carbonation. Aromas of grain, light zesty hops, light caramel. Flavors of light grain, light zesty hops, slight caramel malt. A little sour which doesn’t flow well with me in this style, lightly bitter, almost watery, leaves a bitter/sour aftertaste. The sour/bitter aftertaste it leaves after every sip is almost insulting, as if the beer was punishing me for being a pee factory and turning it into urine.

Very clear and easy to see through. Has a nice copper color. The head only lasts for a few seconds, then goes bye-bye. Looks like it has a decent body, but no carbonation. Hard to tell. Nice color, though. Has the smell of a regular, slightly-darker-than-normal-lager. Nice, nutty malt smell, with a tiny sweet flowery flourish at the end of the sniff. The smell shows some promise. Has a bitter malt bite, but not German. Not quite a pungent Belgian either. Actually has a nice, rich, lagery flavor. Much better than expected. A good representation of this style. Hops hiding out for this beer. Pleasant, sweet aftertaste to apologize for the initial bitter malt. Much thicker than I expected for this style. Has a bubbly little bit of carbonation at the end. Would make a very nice six-pack, if you like this style. This actually one of the more pleasant malty concoctions I’ve had in some time. Nothing remarkable, but a welcome brew.

from the stupid gift pack that looks like an old timey tool box on 3/3/10. decent looking amber colored pour with an almond tinted off white head. smells like butterscotch, spice and malt sweetness. similar lack of flavor...butterscotch, white chocolate, grain, odd fruitiness, a touch sour and herbaceous. it is fairly sweet throughout with a spicy harsh finish. it is medium bodied with a rough mouth feel. 3/3/4/2/9/2.1

Dark clear amber. Small white head that vanishes quickly. Clean hoppy malty nutty nose. Sweet maply syrup flavor and strong barley malt taste. Mild bite. Pretty sweet overall.
