amber ale, wnispy head, no aroma, good malt flavor

rich carmel malt aroma, rich sweet malt flavor, hint of peat - or smoke - or something, a bit strange at first, but grows on you

Not enough of anything to stand-out. I expected much more malt for a scotch ale. The lack of malt dealt a serious blow to the body, much to thin. One of Bardo's weaker efforts.

Fairly bland -- kind of just sits there.
