Nov 24, 2009 Light copper pour, light head and lace. Sour grainy aroma. (Drunk at this point…) Rumple straw (?) is the dominate flavor, tastes like a real beer. A bit beery for my tastes (?). Some bad bitter aftertaste.

Nov 13, 2009 Sticky-sweet, malty aroma. Clear medium gold, with an initially large white head which collapses fairly quickly. Tastes like poorly made homebrew - tinny, thin, acidic without any redeeming hop qualities in its acidity. Faint hops in a bitter finish, but the mouthfeel is very limp. Wouldn’t want another if it were free. New Leaf Market.

Oct 27, 2009 Bard’s Gold is the beer I tried. Bottle.
This is a horrible beer. I wasn’t expecting much given that it is a sorghum beer, but this was just bad. Looks decent enough in the glass, but plug your nose if you take a sip.
I’d rather choke down Colt 45 from a can than experience Bard’s gold again.

Oct 21, 2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is straw colored, clear, and has a light white head. The taste is corn, yuck, skunk, and gross. The smell is corn, weird vinegar mess, and bad.

Oct 20, 2009 The aroma isn’t that much different than an adjunct laden macro lager. It is malty and herbal with some alcohol. The appearance is golden with a foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma with a bitter soapy finish. The palate is almost smooth. Overall not bad if you can’t have gluten but not a great beer overall.

Oct 1, 2009 Pours golden with small white head. Aroma is light malt and light spice. Flavour is dry, a bit spice and notes of diacetyl.
