May 5, 2007 Bottle: Vibrant golden, almost fiery orange, extremely translucent, large white dishwater head, sparce lacing. Head dies
quickly... seems still. Berry like nose, very fruity to start, much like taffy. Pale malt, little to no hop, slight sweetness.
Body and mouthfeel are barely moderate. Very soft artificial Boo Berry or Franken Berry flavor on the finish, slight cereal.
Not bad, but not that interesting either.

May 5, 2007 33 cl bottle, Fargo. Pale golden colour, nearly no head. Smells uninspiring, slightly sour taste. Not my choice of beer but worth trying for reference.

May 3, 2007 WBF-Raleigh. Clear golden body with a small white head. Sweet fruity aroma that I’ve found to be common amongst sorghum beers. Somewhat grainy sorghum flavor.

May 3, 2007 I didn’t know what to expect out of a sorghum beer, but i loved the video game the name is based off of so i had to try it. It tastes a little like coffee or molasses, but goes down VERY smooth.

Apr 30, 2007 12 oz bottle from Shigadeyo! First sorghum beer I’ve had and gluten-free so I wanted to try it! nose of very light sweet grain; lighthly hazy gold with a very small white head; flavor was different than any beer I’ve had, sweet different maltiness with a tart turn at the end, and a tiny hop finish, but not much. Different and it sure doesn’t taste like a pale lager!

Apr 21, 2007 Thin fizzy head. Reduces quickly. Soda bubble carbonation. Bright golden orange in color. Vanilla, ginger and sweet malys inthe aroma. A touch of honey also. Very appealing aroma. Thin watery flavor. Light malts and a bit of sournes. Minimal vanilla. Little bit of grains and some honey. Finish is clean and slightly dry. Nothing special.

Apr 21, 2007 Bottle. Sour ccrn syrup (sorghum) malt aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Strong sorghum and grassy malt flavor - for those who don’t know what sorghum tastes like, it’s like bitter molasses. I’m not sure if the moderate bitterness of this beer is due to the sorghum or hops or both. This is a real love/hate beer. I happen to like the sorghum flavor in this beer, but it will probably turn many people off.
