3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a light golden. Light pils-like flavor with a considerable sweetness to the grainy mouthfeel, but for a gluten-free beer this is pretty nice. I would drink this over almost all BMC product, and it is a nice substitute for a celiac for now.

2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a 12-ounce brown bottle dated seven (7) month ago. Poured a very clear copper color with no head. Light-to-medium body with a slightly slick mouthfeel. Unique flavor, must be the sorghum, dominated everything after the early hop bitterness. Well carbonated with a somewhat sweet flavor balance. I prefer malt.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle, bottled on 10/02/06. Poured a medium orangish color with a smaller sized off white head. Very sweet aroma. Thereís something there I canít quite place. Must be the sorghum. Toffee and caramel. Plastic beach balls. Sweet tastes (but not as sweet as the aromas. Caramel. Thin body.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Consumed 8 months after production. Very clear amber with hints of ruby. Good appearance is where the ígoodnessí ends for this brew. Aroma is of sugary malts (this is a sourghum based concoction). No head and there was large bubbles lazily making their way to the top, so I figured the conditioning would not have much bite, but I was wrong. The carbonation had quite a bit of sting. mouthfeel was light to medium and left a slick palate. The tongue curling sweetness was followed by a tinny/metallic taste. Donít think Iíll try this again...I bought a single 12 oz bottle from Binnyís and Iím glad I never got the sixer...

Bottle. Pours thin amber with an aroma of beans and corn with butter. Tastes like soy, dirt, and butter. Thin and lifeless on the tongue. Please, PLEASE- no more sorghum beers.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2007 My first sorghum beer. The bottle says it was brewed on 7/25/06.. So this is what theyíre drinking in China...the poor saps. Sorghum certainly ainít barley and the difference is in the beer. Still I could understand a cult following for the sharp taste of sorghum. Not me though.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
? Pours a clear gold, a bit on the fizzy side, briefly topped by an inch of white foam. A minute goes by, and there is only a thin film of the head left. Sweet aroma - a little fruity.
The beer is mainly dry with a generic hop tang in the finish, but it it accompanied by this unusual flowery sweetness - similar to sugar and honey and appley fruit. Body just shy of medium, lightly carbonated. The hops make me want to call it crisp or clean or refreshing, but that unusual sweetness prevents me from doing so.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a light clear gold with a thin to almsot no white head. No lace and low carbonation. Aroma is tre bark, lightly minty, spicy, doughy and yeasty. Cream of wheat flavor, more tree bark, pizza dough, and a harsh graininess towards the finish. Bland aftertaste and a wierd slick mouthfeel. Pretty bad- drain pour after about half a glass.
