Commercial Description:
This Golden Sorghum Lager will appeal to beer drinkers who prefer the lighter taste of lagers produced by the major brewers, such as Anheuser-Busch, Coors, Miller, and Heineken. This ale has a light crisp taste to meet the thirst quenching requirements of the lager style while still having enough body to interest the ale drinker during the spring and summer seasons. This beer has low bitterness and a subtle but pleasant hop aroma that will gently caress the senses.

Note: contract brewed for Bard's Tale Beer (http://www.bardsbeer.com/).

From Bottle. Poured golden. Very fizzy, bubbly white head, that dissipated very fast. Aroma of grain, and corn, and semi-sweet. Flavor was like a sweet bread, spiciness in the end with lingering aftertaste like butterscotch. Light bodied. Over the top carbonation. Texture was light and watery.

Bottle: Pours a dark golden color with a smaller white head. Aroma is sweet and of malts and honey. Flavor is sweet and honeylike with a bit of caramel. Creamy mouthful. Can’t say it tasted real bad, but it lacked much definitive flavor overall.

Bottle - Poured a dark amber in color with a small white head that faded quickly. Aroma is sweet and malty with caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is also quite sweet... clingingly so and way too sweet for me. Slightly bitter aftertaste. REALLY not very good...

This beer is very cleen and smooth with a hint of carmel. one of the smoothiest lagers I’ve tasted thus far. Would be very enjoyable on a hot summer day.

I base my rating on the usability of this product which should be focused towards the millions of celiacs whose opinions are the ones that really matter here. I have personally asked many who love this product, especially compared to Redbridge. As a lager compared to other regular gluten-included lagers, I found it remarkably drinkable and savory.

12oz bottle. Orange copper color. Clear. Thin white head. Aroma is of bread, grain, canned corn, and urine! Flavor is a nice malt character, very bready. I thought it was an ale until I read the Commercial Description. It is refreshing but not something I would drink all the time unless I had to. Thank God I’m not allergic to gluten.
