COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bare Cove Radler is a ’Radler’ style beer that has been brewed especially for the Australian climate. A serious twist of natural lemon and lime results in a phenomenally refreshing beer. We don’t add any artifical additives or preservatives to our beer.

Bottle bought in Olinda, Dandenong Ranges. Alcopop. Aroma of lemon, sweet and short-lived taste. Palate is thin and watery; looks are pale yellow, with a thin head.

Poured a clear amber colour with virtually no head and virtually no lacing. Very low carbonation. Aroma slightly of lime. Taste initally of refreshing lime followed by a synthetic citrus flavour. Light body. Short slightly lime finish. Once nice but now not my style.

Bottle. A good lawnmower beer, if you need something wet, with hints of lemon, lime and beer, than this beer does the trick.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2011 A crappy mix of piss and fake lemon and limes. Goes down like tangy piss. Would probably avoid

Someone got done by the Trademark police, naughty, naughty! And yet Barefoot didn’t sound too bad a name either!!
Tasting from back in May 2008.
Produces a very pale, gold tinged yellow, translucent and thinly looking with little to no action carbonation wise. A few awkwardly large bubbles cling to the glass, yet it manages a sloppy, whipped cappuccino foam, snow white in colour, atop which lasts and laces well - me thinks chemists have been at play! Noted lime zest on the nose, a little lemon juice also with little else. Mild lime, candyish start sours quickly. Slight tang of sour fruit, very light on and watery in flavour and mouthfeel. Finish is sour and crisp, very short. Quite clean, nothing more to write about really. Lacks malt and hop definition but I guess that is the point. Another generation ’whY bother’ beer. UPDATED: MAY 13, 2011 Bottle. Pours a pale amber with thin white diminishing head. Aroma mild lime and lemon, pleasant but not much else there. Taste is lime/lemon/citrus, at first refreshing but gets harder and harder to enjoy. Short and light bitter hops finish. Palate light and lively, almost caressing. Label says is "The Original Australian Radler Beer"; i think it needs modernising.

Sample from bottle poured into a disposable plastic cup. Clear pale gold with no head. Faint aroma of seemingly synthetic lemon and lime. Faint flavour of the same. Watery with the citrus flavours giving way to a little bit of a "beer" flavour on the finish.

Like drinking fizzy lemonaide this is more spritzer than beer. Pleasant enough for a BBQ or the like but wouldn’t search this out.
