3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy balanced hot aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium smooth balanced pepper flavor with a medium pepper finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at brewery. Prominent poblano pepper, light vinegar, malt aroma. Like opening a jar of pickled peppers. Clear golden with a small white head. Malty pepper flavor. I liked the pepper flavor, but would really have loved some heat to go with it. Absolutely no heat here. Medium body, low carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poblano and malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mild poblano malt flavor. Surprisingly there is no heat in this. Nice poblano aroma and flavor without the heat.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a rich golden with a thick, frothy off-white to khaki head. Nose of poblano pepper spice, some light dust and sweet grain. Taste is somewhat sweet, a little tart, and quite bitter. Palate is lighter bodied and accented by the spice notes that aren’t too overwhelming but definitely noticeable. Really nice pale ale.
