| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2007 Seems to be a knock-off of Guinness. Pours pure black, and after it settles, has a chocolate milk colored head. Taste is roasted malt and is very creamy.

Aroma is heavy roast malt forward with a lightly toasted character, light sweetness and no hop character. Appearance is black with a well-retained off-white head. Flavor is very light and might be servd a bit too cold. Flavor is dominated by roast malt, which is almost the only character and extends well into the finish. Mouthfeel is full bodied but low on texture, creamy. Overall, this isn’t a bad beer, but the flavor and malt character is just not complex enough. BeerBelcher (937), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Nov 9, 2007 This beer is the least aromatic and flavorful product to have ever claimed to be a "stout."
This beer scared the crap out of me when I opened the can; I didn’t realize the can contained a widget, so when I opened and heard a sound like I’d pulled the pin on a grenade, I was a bit startled. The widget does his job, and the upwardly settling head does make for a nice appearance. Sadly, that’s where the pleasure ends with this beer. Aroma is non-existent and flavor is watery. Mouthfeel is thin and unsatisfying. This is undeniably the worst product called a "stout" I’ve ever had.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 17, 2007 On tap. Poured a super dark brown with some ruby highlights. The head is slightly off-white, creamy and about a finger tall. The aroma is roasted malt and thin chocolate. The flavor is dry chocolate, roasted malt and a slight bit of sour. The mouthfeel is very thin and the finish is a meandering mess. The Guinness comparison is accurate, like Guinness Light. Ho hum. golubj (1286), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Draft at ESPN Zone. Lots of creamy tan head. Aroma of cream and some light roasted malt. Flavor is the same with some chocolate malt, pretty light overall in flavor. Creamy, yet somewhat thin mouthfeel. Not good for the style.
