PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA Sep 17, 2006 Had this at the NY Renaisance Festival, and wow, it was a waste of $5. Actually has a decent look too it of a deep, deep brown and a creamy colored thick head, but the flavor is thin, and has a very unpleasant late bitterness. Not too good. tennisjoel (925), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA Sep 11, 2006 Apperance is the best thing this beer has going for it. A Guinness clone, essentially a stout with no flavor whatsoever. Some faint roasted nut and coffee flavor. Same non carbonated crap with a creamy head. No thanks. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA Sep 10, 2006 Reminded me of a thick michelob amber-bock, not a whole lot of flavor with this one, a macro stout, on tap. Odeed (1666), Bakersfield, California, USA Sep 10, 2006 (on tap @ brews in the village)thin body, bananas esters in the flavor.this is a sad excuse for a stout. IrishBoy (2683), Bakersfield, California, USA Sep 9, 2006 Draft at Bakersifelds Brews in The Village; Looked like a stout but tasted like a poor hefe. Opaque brown with a thick beige head; Nose showed banana esters, and the flavor did also without much else! drmatt (51), THE LOU, Missouri, USA Sep 8, 2006 best A-B product. pours lighter in color than guinness and is sweeter. watery in nature which goes with the A-B label. okay beer. daalamar (403), bardstown, Kentucky, USA Sep 5, 2006 dark brown/black with a medium foamy head. Very faint roasty aroma. Flavor is synthetic and waxy. Very watery. Was a new tap at a local establishment that I had alot of hope for..... too bad. dolemike1 (1116), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2006 Had no idea it was from A-B when i tried it. Found it to be watery, with a hint of roasted malt. Nice appearance and lacing, but thats about it.
