Tried this on draft at D’s Six Packs and Dogz new location in Monroeville, PA. Thought the name looked familiar and asked the waiter who brews it, he didn’t know. Tried a sample - liked it - ordered a pint. Tasted good, even mentioned to my wife "THIS is what Guinness should taste like".......very similar to Guinness, but with more roastiness to it. I liked it - and when I heard about 30 minutes later I couldn’t believe it was an A-B product. Even so, I ordered another later on. I was impressed Busch (or any of the macros) came out with something this good. Pours black and retains its head nicely - stuck my finger in the beige foam and it clung to my fingertip, just like a good Guinness

Overall, it’s not a bad stout. Nothing really special here but I would take it over pretty much anything else AB makes. I have a feeling if it wasn’t associated with AB it would probably have a much higher rating.

Draft from awhile ago. Pours black. Nose/taste of roasted barley, baker’s chocolate and dark malt. Dry finish. Plain.

I can't even find this anymore. If you did. A blind taste test this would score much higher. But because it's brewed by AB people have a predisposed hatred of it. It's a bit chocolatier Guiness. Still a nice stout. Regardless of the brewer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted on tap in standard pint glass. Poured a clear, dark brown color with fluffy off-white foam which dissipated fairly quickly leaving very little lace. Aromas of bread, roasted barley, no hops, no yeast esters. Some malt-sweetness, slight hops bitterness, more roasted barley. Completely missing any malty, fruity complexity. Light body and thin, bland mouthfeel, Characteristic Anheuser-Busch watery and metallic tastes with sharp, overly fizzy carbonation. Stouts are great, but this is a sadly lacking version.

Draft. Pours black with a nice tan head. Faint but roasty aroma. Flavor is mostly roasted malts but with hints of chocolate and coffee. Pretty one dimensional. Finish is bitter and chalky. Fairly watery but smooth. Decent, especially considering the brewer.

If I said it was a watered down Guinness, That would be an understatement! This stout falls short in every aspect. AB just never has brewed anything that is worth a damn.

This is a pretty average, maybe slightly less than stout. Not too much flavor but no overwhelming chocolate or smoke...just watered down heavy malt.

surprisingly good for budweiser stout, most definitely not a guinness though

On tap at the AB Brewery in Merimack NH after taking the tour. Pours black in color. Aroma and taste is basically made up of dusty malts with a little roastiness. Leaves a malt finish. Nothing really special, but it was a decent attempt to a stout by Anheuser Busch.

Tried this for the first time at Stout’s Irish Pub in Atlanta... Pours black with a huge creamy white head. Say what you will about the rest of the beer but it looks great. The smell is very lightly roasty and bitter. The flavor in very atringent. The pleasant creamy bitterness of the big dry stouts is ruined by an unpleasant atringency. Mouth is very creamy and smooth. But the total flavor is not that great. I’ll take a pass on this in the future but it’s not terrible.
